  14. 1. Assigning the program.

  16. Screen Calendar tool allows you to create custom desktop wallpapers with 
  17. built in active calendar. You can set up pleasant working atmosphere by 
  18. changing desktop view (background image, calendar arrangement, fonts, 
  19. colors etc.) and adding a full-functional PIM like a calendar which can be 
  20. small or large, transparent or, even, hidden on your desktop.

  22. Screen Calendar really allows you to put the calendar on your desktop wallpaper
  23. and you can choose the calendar size and transparency. Double-click the calendar 
  24. to schedule your business day. To read your notes fully, just move your mouse over 
  25. the date cell. So, your PIM is always at hand (it runs in system tray), but it does 
  26. not require much space, especially if you like to use the hide/show calendar commands.

  28. Beginning with version 7.4, you can import and export calendar data from iCalendar (iCal) format.
  29. Screen Calendar lets you to:

  31. - choose any size and place of the screen of calendar; 
  32. - set transparency of calendar; 
  33. - schedule business day clicking on a calendar just;
  34. - import/export calendar data from iCalendar (iCal) format;
  35. - print calendar, events and records; 
  36. - show half or whole the next month; 
  37. - select any skins and background images for your desktop or Winamp skins 
  38.   for calendar; 
  39. - set random background image from folder or image list; 
  40. - change backgrounds with any time period; 
  41. - choose the custom type of a calendar representation; 
  42. - create calendars using any color styles suitable for you; 
  43. - show or hide calendar; 
  44. - show weeks numbering; 
  45. - organize your desktop icons variously;
  46. - show the current date on the system tray icon;
  47. - select language for both the program interface and the calendar;
  48. - mark the dates with records;
  49. - postpone the records to next or another day;
  50. - save calendar with background;
  51. - remind and repeat appointments;
  52. - see contrasting calendar over any background;
  53. - export or import your records to (from) Microsoft Outlook;

  59. The program is designed for OS Windows 98/NT/2k/XP/Vista.

  61. To install the program unpack and run setup.exe from scrcal.zip archive.

  66. Please do not uninstall the previous version if you want to keep the skins 
  67. and your data notes.

  69. You can import your records from a previous version of Screen Calendar 
  70. to Scheduler beginning from version 6.0.

  72. Note. Your previous version records are stored in the dates.dat file:
  73. C(or D disk):\Documents and Settings\(user name)\Application Data\Screen Calendar.

  76. the software on non-stop basis. The latest version of the software or

  80. 4. License and registration.

  82. Screen Calendar is distributed without restrictions and limitations. On 
  83. the other hand a registration reminder screen will pop up each time you run 
  84. the unregistered version and word "Unregistered" is in your dates notes until 
  85. you register. 
  86. Only registered users are eligible for technical support and version updates!

  90. To order Screen Calendar you can use the "Web links" item in the system tray 
  91. menu and click the "Buy now!" link to order the program.

  93. After your payment is confirmed you will receive your registration info. 
  94. To finalize your registration you should enter your login name and registration
  95. key in the registration window: click the Screen Calendar icon from the system tray and 
  96. choose the "Registrationà" item of the menu.
